FOR BIPOC MOTHERS

A MOVEMENT & EXPRESSION

WOMANHOOD RECLAIMED

THE ETHOS

You were a

whole woman

before you were a mother.

Motherhood is one more expression of that wholeness, not the erasure of it. IyaJumi exists to remind you of who you have always been, and to gather you with women who remember too.

01

Ancestral

We carry our lineages on our backs and in our bones. To mother in color is to remember.

02

Awareness

A space without judgment, comparison, or the pressure to optimize. Just presence.

03

Embodiment

Womanhood is felt, not performed. We come home to ourselves through our bodies.

OUR STORY

Born from a question:

"Wait… who am I in this?"

IyaJumi began past the survival stage of early motherhood, in the quiet looking-around that happens once your baby is no longer new. The question wasn't about being a better mother. It was about being a whole woman.

We are rebelling against the idea that motherhood requires self-erasure. Against the beige-ification of how we mother and what we wrap our babies in. Against rooms full of mothers that somehow still don’t center the fullness of who we are in them.

IyaJumi is ancestral healing made visible, wearable, and communal. A brand that holds the intersection of cultural identity, womanhood, and the wholeness of BIPOC motherhood.
